Comcast Center is designed for efficiency

  • A dramatic eight-story Winter Garden on JFK Boulevard and four, three-story atria on the buildings south façade will bring natural light deep into the building.

  • Nine-foot high continuous windows and eleven-foot high ceilings on all office floors offer panoramic views of the city to 90% of the building’s occupants.

  • The glass curtain wall blocks 60% of the heat from the sun while allowing 70% of the sun’s visible light to be transmitted.  This provides ample daylight while reducing energy used for air conditioning and lighting.

  • Sophisticated building operations include an energy management system for measurement, verification and use allocation of resources for optimal efficiency.
